Before you share

OneDrive and SharePoint links can behave differently for owners, organization members and external recipients. Test the final URL after changing sharing permissions so the result reflects the link you will actually send. Check whether the organization blocks external guests, requires a named Microsoft account or applies an expiry date. A successful test shows current public behavior; it cannot reproduce every recipient's account, tenant policy or device state.
